Belleville and Area Map

Belleville was one of two Canadian cities that became Census Metropolitan Areas in 2017, so it automatically became a destination that I would add to this site. The deed was accomplished on a warmish day in July 2017, Yvon and I drove up and did a walkabout, before having a picnic in nearby Presqu'Ile Provincial Park. This gallery also includes some earlier photos of the area, including a previous visit to the park and to Prince Edward County.

  • Other Belleville (26 photos) - These photos are from 2017, and show some of Belleville away from the core, including the Glanmore National Historic Site and other houses nearby, the Via Station, Loyalist College, Albert College, the Sir James Whitney School and the Belleville Cemetery.

  • Other 2017 Photos (35 photos) - These are from the remainder of our drive in 2017, and inlcude Presqu'Ile Provincial Park, Cobourg, and other rural treats along Highway 2.

  • Prince Edward County in 2006 (38 photos) - These photos are from a drive and Yvon and I took in 2006, they are quite varied, but include a few shots in Picton, others at wineries in Prince Edward County, three night shots of a fair in Belleville, and Presqu'Ile Provincial Park.

  • Picton (15 photos) - I went to Picton for work early in 2017, and managed to take a few photos of the town before I returned to Toronto.

  • Old House (13 photos) - For some reason, Yvon and I once visited a derelict house in Prince Edward County that was for sale, and it was slightly fascinating as the place was rather unimproved.
