Budapest Map
Budapest formed part of our "MiddelEuropa"
tour in 2002. We arrived there by boat, from Vienna, having travelled up the
Danube, and left on plane heading further east towards Romania. Budapest at
the time was a poor man's Prague, not yet so westernized, and not always in
good ways. I thought, if Central Europe was the Canadian prairies, then
Prague would be Calgary and Budapest would be Winnipeg.
I do like Winnipeg, though.

Danube
trip (17 photos) - Yvon
and I took a ferry down the river from Vienna to Budapest, through some
pretty scenery and a few locks. These photos document that trip.
