Kingston Map
I have been to Kingston a number of
times, yet rarely taken photos. On a trip in the fall of 2008 I was sent to a
conference of the Ontario Building Officials Association with my co-worker
Sarah, and I managed to get a few shots. Other photos on this page include a visit to Gananoque (with photos along the
way) in July 2009.

Central Kingston (81 photos) - It
was a sunny fall day at the height of the leaves changing colour, and
central Kingston from Queen's University to City Hall was looking glorious
in its stony beauty. I slipped out from our conference on lunch, drove
downtown, parked on Lower Union Street, and without the aid of so much as
a map, did a very rapid walking tour of the central city. Mixed in with
these shots are a very few that I took at the end of that day, when Sarah
and I returned to the central city.

Other
Kingston photos (17 photos) -
This includes a few photos of Sarah and I at the conference, and a few
near the hotel in which the conference was held. We also drove to see the
jails around town after work one day, and had supper out at Chez Piggy, a
Kingston standby for some years.
-
Kingston for a Workshop in 2002 (8 photos)
- I did a workshop with Loren in Kingston in March 2002, and these few
photos were mostly taken after the workshop.
-
Gananoque and the Drive there (69 photos)
- Yvon and I drove to Gananoque and stayed there overnight on our way to a
visit in Ottawa in July 2009. These photos are from that visit. Apart from
Gananoque, there are a few photos of a charming cemetery in Canton, and
the Lower Breweries Lock of the Rideau Canal.
