Rick, Yvon and I went to Philadelphia for a short visit in 2003, when a planned stop in New Orleans fell through. Though the weather was fairly gloomy all weekend, and we weren't there that long, you can get some idea of our visit from these photos. I don't highly recommend looking at them, just the same.

Transit trip to New Jersey (10 photos) - I had convinced Yvon and Rick to take the train over onto the Jersey side, as I had been advised and one could look down onto the ruins of Camden from the elevated train. Canadians, I think, often have a kind of morbid fascination in the ruined parts of American cities. We took the train, had treats in Collingwood, and went back.
