Saskatoon Map
I had been to Saskatoon once
briefly, to give a workshop, back in 1999. Yvon came out and joined me
there, but we didn't have a lot of time to explore the city. It was a
delight to go back in 2018 on a warm and sunny weekend, especially to check
out the new and impressive Remai Modern art gallery, which opened beside the
river in the winter. That gallery had great shows on, and I ended up eating
very well in the city on this short visit.

Saskatoon Photos (71 photos)
- This is a little bit from visits all over the city. It starts in
Riversdale, west of downtown, where I visited a market and ate out. It
includes a few shots from Nutana, across the river from downtown. North
of downtown, there are shots at the Kinsmen Park, the University Bridge
and Woodlawn Cemetery, as well as of the Robin Hood Plant. It also
includes photos of the Western Development Museum in the south of the
city, and ends at the airport.

Saskatoon in 1999 (8 photos)
- These photos were taken in November 1999, when I gave a workshop in the
city. Yvon came out and spent time there with me.
These are not terribly vivid photos, and many of them overlap with what
I took later, but I present them anyways.
