I used to do workshops in various places for archives, and one of the very last ones that I was offered to do was in Whitehorse. I jumped on the offer, since Yvon's brother Réjean lived there and I had never been to the city. I was there, then, in March 2003, and Yvon came for a brief visit. I did my workshop, had one day to my own to wander the town, and on Friday Yvon arrived. Réjean took us on a driving trip to Skagway, Alaska, which was a very entertaining ride through the mountains. We were lucky with the weather, which was brilliantly sunny and not too cold.

Trip to Alaska (52 photos) - Réjean took us to Skagway, Alaska, through Carcross in Yukon and the White Pass. Though Skagway has an unpleasantly tourist-boaty feel, the trip brought us through absolutely gorgeous scenery.
